About the Founders
Arani Label began as a heartfelt dream shared by two sisters, Himani Divi and Srujini Divi, and was inspired by a very special little girl Arani. What started as a search for the perfect outfit for her soon turned into something much bigger a passion to create clothes that make children feel happy, confident, and completely themselves.
Himani, a fashion designer trained at NIFT Hyderabad and Parsons School of Design, New York, has always been drawn to the beauty of Indian craftsmanship. After years of studying and exploring fashion, she realised how much joy lies in creating something truly special pieces that celebrate both tradition and modern charm.
Srujini, a child psychologist from New York University, brings a deep understanding of how children move, feel, and express themselves. Her insights help shape every little detail from soft fabrics that don’t itch, to embroidery placed just right so kids can run, play, and laugh freely.
The sisters often found themselves wishing for clothes that looked beautiful but also felt good outfits children could enjoy wearing through the giggles, games, and celebrations that make up their world. And that’s how Arani Label came to life born from love, creativity, and the simple wish to make dressing up a joyful experience.
